Philly Fashion Week
Philly Fashion Week is back to showcase the work of local, national and international designers! The event kicks off on Wednesday, September 22 at 5 p.m. outside of the Fashion District (9th and Market streets) with an outdoor runway show highlighting fall fashion from Primark (free to attend and open to the public).
The next three days (September 23-25) bring more runway shows featuring the work of 38 independent designers and stylists, including Project Runway contestants Caycee Black (season 19), Kovid Kapoor (season 17) and Renee Hill (season 17).

Big Openings This Week in Philly
There are a lot of good things happening in Philly this week!
Primark, a popular international retailer, is slated to open its doors in the Fashion District on Thursday, September 16 at 11 a.m. Swing by for the grand opening to shop the latest trends, participate in giveaways, hear live DJ music and more.
Also coming up: The Avenue of the Arts celebrates the return of in-person arts and cultural events! Arts Launch 2021: A Return To In-Person Arts takes place at the Kimmel Cultural Campus on Saturday, September 18 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Make plans to attend this special event and enjoy a diverse sampling of free, live performances and other fun activities.
Center City District Restaurant Week
Get excited: Center City District Restaurant Week is back! From September 18-30, more than 60 restaurants offer multi-course prix fixe lunches for $25 and dinners for $40. Make a reservation now to dine indoors or outdoors (when available) at a participating restaurant, or order take-out and dine at home.
Don't forget to visit the restaurant's website or call for their current COVID-19 policy. And if you're driving to lunch or dinner, you can park for $9 or less at participating Center City garages from 4:45 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. during Restaurant Week. Enjoy!
Shop Center City Saturdays
Fall is almost here, and with it comes a host of happenings in and around Center City!
For starters, Center City District's Shop Center City Saturdays campaign returns this fall in support of retailers and restaurants in downtown Philadelphia.
Dozens of local businesses and national brands located in Center City will offer exclusive discounts, curated in-store events, giveaways, and more every Saturday for five weeks. In addition to all-day shopping and dining deals, visitors can also enjoy larger special events — like the Rittenhouse Row Festival (September 25) and Harvest Weekend in Dilworth Park (October 7-9) — during the five-week campaign.
Shop Center City Saturdays runs from September 18 - October 16. Check out their website for a list of participating retailers and restaurants, and learn about more of the big events on the way!
